Flying to Antalya

Conference venue is located 40 km away from the Antalya International Airport (AYT). International participants may opt for one of the following two alternatives at their conveniences;
  • Fly directly to Antalya International Airport: During the summer season, there are direct flights to Antalya from Germany (e.g. Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Munster, Munich, etc), Netherlands (e.g. Amsterdam, Eindhoven), France (e.g. Lyon), Russia, United Kingdom (e.g. London, Gatwick, Stansed, Manchester) and some other EU countries. 
  • Fly via Istanbul: Antalya is well connected to Istanbul with more than 15 domestic flights from Istanbul to Antalya. Therefore flying to Antalya with a stopover in Istanbul is also a very convenient travel option (Istanbul-Antalya is an 1-hour flight). Participants who prefer this option should pay attention to which Istanbul airport they are flying to. There are two international airports in Istanbul (Ataturk International (IST) and Sabiha Gokcen (SAW)), which are quite far away from each other. 

Ground Transport from the Airport to Gloria Hotels

The conference site is about 40 km (25 miles) from the Antalya airport. Shuttles will be available between the Antalya Airport and Gloria Hotels & Resorts during the conference period (i.e. 24-28 May 2015). The shuttle fee is 12 € (one way) and the scheduled departure times from the airport and the hotel are given below. Additionally, private shuttle service is also available for our guest. The private shuttle service fee is 40 € (one way). Expected journey time is around 1 hour, but may vary due the traffic conditions.

Visa Requirements:

You may be required to have a valid visa to enter the country. However, the visa procedure is more of a formality for the citizens of most of the countries. If you are required to get a visa, there are visa counters located in the arrival hall before passport check (click here to see the arrival hall). You may easily get a visa from these counters.

If you need a Letter of Invitation to attend the conference, use IAEE’s online request form. Please include your full name, date of birth, passport number and email address. An electronic letter will be forwarded to your attention. The Conference strongly suggests that you allow plenty of time for processing these documents. Please note that Letters of Invitation are only mailed to persons who have registered and paid in full for their conference fees.
